You’ll never have enough hours in the day—believe me, I’ve tried. As much as I’d love to think I can fit everything I want to do into 24 hours, it never quite works out. I’ve experimented with routines and schedules, but there’s something so soothing about letting the day unfold naturally.
Of course, that’s not the case on workdays when I’m in the office and following a strict schedule. But on my days off, it’s all about the ebb and flow: What feels most important to me today? That’s the question guiding my spring season.

Earth and Ocean Month feels more urgent than ever, especially in the midst of today’s climate calamity. So, I want to share some incredible events and activities on Whidbey Island that highlight why Mother Nature is the ultimate, sacred force in our lives. Remember, it’s not just about April—caring for this spirit is a lifelong commitment. She’s in peril, and she needs us now more than ever.
